I have proofread a variety of fiction and non-fiction titles for several publishing companies. Recently I proofread all the articles for the first edition of the publication The Modern Jetsetter. I have also been responsible for proofreading written documents and website content for various businesses and charities.
In addition to my proofreading skills, I have a BA (Hons) degree in French and Spanish. With a background in language studies, I am ideally placed to understand the complexities of making yourself understood, clearly and accurately.
I live in Surrey with my husband, two children and our cocker spaniel. I love baking, travel and planning our next holiday. It’s also no surprise that I decided to become a proofreader as I have had a lifelong passion for reading and can easily spend hours curled up with a good book!
Qualifications and Membership
I have passed, with a Merit, the Publishing Training Centre’s Basic Proofreading course. I am an intermediate member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP).
